Sunny’s Peach Cobbler
Spend a Saturday with Sunny as she prepares to visit her Grandmother “Big Momma." Big Momma teaches Sunny how to bake a homemade peach cobbler. Sunny's Peach Cobbler includes primary and extended family. Story is based upon a long standing family story and includes the original recipe.

Meet the Author
With over 20 years in the early childhood development and direct service to children and families industry, Shawn Reid is an accomplished public speaker and Hall of Fame athlete from Toledo, Ohio. Shawn has served in the capacity of Vice-President for a non-profit in Florida that served over 6,000 of the 36,000 children and families receiving Head Start. He has also served as a Head Start Director in Michigan and North Carolina.
Shawn has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix. Shawn is a hall of fame inductee at Toledo St. Francis de Sales High School and a hall of fame inductee in the Toledo City League Athletic Hall of Fame, both located in Toledo, Ohio. He and his family currently reside in both Tampa, Florida and Greenville, SC.

Keturah’s images are world renown for having large bold beautiful hair styles and representing an underserved, but growing population of an "economically and racially diverse" community of multi-ethnic, multi-racial people; particularly focusing on consumers who identify with images that represent their rich heritage. "In high school I was asked to give a quote to go alongside my photo in the year book. Not given much time to think, I stated, "I have a dream, and I will achieve it." As an artist it's hard to find inspiration when you're being advised to give up on that dream, to find another career...a Plan B. I never developed a Plan B outside of the art industry. It's like my mind is incapable of extending itself past that realm. I didn't know what to do, where to go, or who to confide in. I only knew that this was something I had to go through and that things would get better eventually, the beautiful struggle.” "My art reflect positivity and diversity. Even when I encounter something negatively, particularly social issues, my goal is to inspire. I want people to see my work and feel encouraged. I value the importance to create awareness.
